| A quickie bit of holiday art for a promt from Pocus on Gateworld who wanted: Must include snow, a blue scarf, sliding on a lake and the sniffles.

| I've been told that come the New Year, I'll be getting a delayed Christmas gift from Santa. New Couches! In other words, I'm getting my mom's old couches and she's getting new ones. ;) Her couches are actually in pretty good shape since no one regularly sits on them.
They are dark green. One is a sofa couch and the other, smaller one, has two foot rests on at each end and a small table in the middle.
If I've done my math right, they should fit. If not - well that will be a problem. :) I'm kind of worried that with both of them, my place will look smaller. Not to be an ungrateful child, but I'd rather have one of the old recliners. My sister, who lives with my mom, wont let them go. She said something about keeping them 'just in case'. In case of what? I have no idea and neither does my mom. Of course, my current couch is in bad shape, so I should just shut up and be grateful. ;)

| Lythisrose over on Gateworld is quite the detective. Here are all the bit and pieces she put together to figure out what Joe's new project was. ( Info on Joe's new movie ) | |

| Thank to Lythisrose on Gatworld for finding this and confirming that Joe's new movie is " A Good Day for It" in Penn. Monday, December 14, 2009 Filming I'm filming in the snow of Pennsylvania with a great cast. Robert Patrick, Lance Henrikson, Christian Kane, Hal Holbrook, Kathy Baker, Samantha Mathis, and Joe Flanagan. In other words Bishop, T2 and me. Rocking. The internet connection is crappy out here, so sorry about the lack of contact. Later, Rich | |

| I hope everyone's December is going good for them! I've attempted Christmas shopping - in the rain. What was I thinking?! I use to love being in the rain, now not so much. Gads, I must be getting old or something. Oo
I got my new glasses yesterday, and they started making me feel nauseated almost immediately. Not a good sign! The frames are a lot smaller than my last pair and I don't really like that, but they just don't make larger frames anymore. sigh
On a accomplished note, I finished my Secret Santa Art piece and now I just have to wait until the 20th to post it.
Also, my writing muse has been tingling, so I'm hopeful she'll stick around long enough for a fic to appear. :)

| It seems LJ and my email are having an argument. I'm not getting any of my LJ notifications. Crap. | |
|
| I've been inspired by the idea of Joe on horse back. (His new project has him as a modern cowboy, and to me that means horses!) Edit: Just to clarify, this is a photo manip. Although, I am working on a full art piece with both John and Rodney on horseback. ;) | |
|
| Would anyone on my flist be interested in helping me with my Secrete Santa Art project? I've gotten to the point that I'm not sure if I'm making it better or worst. Oo | |
|
| Ah, tis the season to get depressed. sigh I could go on and whine about the crappiness of my life right now, but I'd rather not.
Other things,
The new Ironman 2 poster looks interesting. Yay, a nice blockbuster in time for my B-day! (May)
I keep starting BB stories only to stop (becuase I've been reading for 4 hours straight and I can't feel my feet anymore) only to not go back and finish. I've done that with three stories so far, and they are Good stories. I guess my attention span is a bit....oh hey!
My Secret Santa Art submission is not started. I have finally thought of something to do for it, so that's encouraging. Right?
I haven't finished my BSG art and I think it was due today? Oops!
